Driving lights make the road 3x brighter!!!   The X2020 Chevrolet Upgrade Kit is designed for installation on model years '99 and newer Silverado 1500, 2500 and 3500, and on model years '00 and newer Tahoe and Suburban.  The ballast for the kit is built into the lamp mounting bracket. The kits include specially designed halogen high beams to maximize the performance of the Xennon HID low beam lamps

In some circumstances, minor modifications to the light "bucket" may be required to accommodate the ballast cable. The ballast cable is extra long (over 31") to facilitate mounting the ballast. A separate wiring harness is supplied as the existing vehicle wiring is not designed to support the high start-up current required for an HID ballast. Highly recommends the Xenarc HID sealed beams be aimed professionally. This can be done using standard methods by almost any automotive service center.

Both kits comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108, Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Srandard (CMVSS) 108 and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J2009 for Discharge Forward Lighting Systems.
